Infrared IR Windows are Optical Windows designed for optimal performance in the Infrared (IR) spectrums. IR Windows are ideal for use in FTIR spectroscopy, in addition to thermal imaging, FLIR, or medical systems. Infrared Windows in multiple anti-reflection coating or substrate options. Substrate options include materials such as Calcium Fluoride (CaF2), Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2), Silicon (Si), Zinc Selenside (ZnSe), or Zinc Sulfide.
Product Description
Optical windows are falt, plane parallel plates which are often used as protective barriers for electronic sensors or detectors from outside environments. When selecting windows, please consider materials, transmission, scattering, parallelism and resisitance to certain environment or mechanical properties of the substrate.
